Off crutches day before Disney trip
My 13 yr. old daughter has a growth plate fracture in her foot/ankle. She may get her air boot off right before we go to Disney. Walking on it all day may not be possible so we may get a wheel chair. Will she need a doctor's note to prove that her foot was injured so she can use a different entrance to attractions, etc. if she needs to? I just didn't want people to think she was faking since she may be walking on it some.

If you'll have a wheelchair (or other device), you don't need a GAC, the device shows that she needs assistance.
Most of the lines are mainstreamed anyways, and where they aren't the CM will direct you.
DD was in a similar situation, she could walk some, but no where near enough to "do" Disney. So, we rented a wheelchair and I pushed her most of the time, but she did get up when needed.
I have to say, we also travelled with my Mom in an ECV, and with her sometimes also needing to stretch, I'm sure more than one person thought we were "faking". But, we knew what we needed to get through the day and have a good trip, so don't worry what other people may think!

I was told just recently that they WERE asking people renting wheelchairs to go to the Town Hall to register???? Check when you get in the park?
I like how they handle handicap in PARIS you come to the queue, they give the person coming next a red necklace or numbered card (or whatever color), and you get the identical card. You wait in the handicapped line, but do not board until that person with the card is next in line...much fairer for everyone...everyone takes their fair turn in line. And only two people in the handicapped line, the rest if the party goes through the normal line and you board together. Avoids this 20 person group with granny in the wheelchair, and oh, next ride, gramps is in the chair, and oh, next ride little Johnie is in the chair... We see it lots of time at WDW.

Well her ankle is broken for sure! They put a cast on it! We leave Friday for Disney. She'll be in a wheel chair.
