Mar. 3, 2004 – Disney’s drama series “Stephen King’s Kingdom Hospital” debuted on ABC. (Ended July 15, 2004)
Mar. 3, 2005 – Disneyland hosted a special evening event in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Indiana Jones Adventure attraction.
Mar. 3, 2006 – The 3rd Annual “ESPN The Weekend” began at Disney-MGM Studios at WDW. Celebrity sportscasters included Stuart Scott, Chris Berman, Brian Urlacher, and Julius “Dr. J” Erving. (3-day event)
Mar. 3, 2006 – Walt Disney Imagineers received a THEA Award for Outstanding Attraction for the work on “Expedition Everest Legend of the Forbidden Mountain.”
Mar. 3, 2006 – The “Superstar Studios” in Pleasure Island in Downtown Disney closed.
Mar. 3, 2007 – Kathryn Beaumont, the original voice of Wendy, and Tinkerbell model Margaret Kerry joined local celebrities to celebrate the Mar. 6th Platinum Edition 2 disc DVD release of “Peter Pan” in London’s Leicester Square.
Mar. 3, 2010 – The 17th Annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival began. The line up included: Jose Feliciano (3/5-3/7), Paul Revere and the Raiders (3/12-3/14), David Cassidy (3/19-3/21), Starship featuring Mickey Thomas (3/26-3/28), Tony Orlando (4/2-4/4), Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone (4/9-4/11), Ricky Nelson Remembered Featuring the Nelsons (4/16-4/18), Atlanta Rhythm Section (4/23-4/25), Fran Cosmo (4/30-5/2), Davy Jones (5/7-5/9), Chubby Checker & The Wildcats (5/14-5/16).
Mar. 3, 2010 – The Atlanta Braves beat the New York Mets 9-5 in their 2nd spring training game of the season at Champion Stadium at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex.
Mar. 3, 2011 – The annual “ESPN the Weekend” kicked off at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at WDW. (4-day event)
Mar. 3, 2011 – Disney and HP executives were joined by sports celebrities and ESPN personalities at ESPN Wide World of Sports for the dedication ceremony for the newly named “HP Field House.”
