Have a GREAT time. You'll find its worth it.
DH says I'm a snob now, needing a room with washer/dryer and a jacuzzi bath.
What's important to me - relaxing after the parks in a private bath while my girls relax in their own space? Packing less? I'm IN. I know you can book these rooms with cash but DOING - sheez its pricey.
I like knowing I have a vacation coming up soon. And when DH lost his job a few years ago, we used The Timeshare Store to sell our points that we couldn't use.

Hands down, the best purchase we ever made for our family. It's been 9 happy years of priceless memories. Using ours at Aulani this summer for the second time.
Trips: Too Many to Count! Last Trips: April 2013 CSR; July 2013 Aloha Aulani, The Sequel, Hawaii. Multiple trips to WDW, DL, DCL!
Coming up: September 2013 "Scary September" at Disneyland/DCA/Universal Hollywood.

You bought directly through Disney? You likely will get addonitis (where you want to keep adding on: for more points...variety of home resorts...etc). When you get addonitis you should look into resale market where you can buy for almost half the cost (or in the case of AKV...more than half the cost...we just bought resale AKV for $66/point). Congrats and WELCOME HOME!!!!!

I think I meant to say less than 1/2 the cost.
