Philadelphia Meet in the Spring

Are we looking at lunch or dinner? The requests off are already full for almost all Saturdays through June at my part time job, but the latest I can be scheduled to work until would be 3. Sadly, I won't know until the Thursday of the week before what my scheduled will be.

I think any Saturday would work for me in May but it would have to be lunch, not dinner. A late lunch would be fine but I would need to be at train station by 5pm.

The 25th is Memorial Day Weekend and we might have alot of traffic that weekend.

Is the 11th good?

Would a Sunday work? That pretty much cuts out every Saturday in May with Mothers Day weekend the 11th.

Does everyone want to try for a Saturday afternoon in June. We can do a late lunch maybe around 2:00. I can't go during the week and Sundays in the summer there is crazy traffic. Melanie do you want to look at the Phillies schedule to see when they play at home. My son's birthday is the 15th so that is out...plus that is father's day weekend, but I think at this point I am free for the other Saturdays.

Maryann if we do 2:00 will you be aable to come right after work?

Yes if I ended up having to work I would come straight over. My job is in Cherry Hill, so I should at least be able to make desert! When we nail down the date I can see if I can at least get out early. For June, I know the 1st is definitely out. I have a concert on the 8th but that won't be til later in the day so I could probably make it. I can't think of any other conflicts right now.

June 15th is not good for me but any other Sat. In June would probably be ok if I can get off work.

Sorry for the late reply. There is a lot going on at home right now so I haven't been as able to follow up on the Boards. I am not available on June 8th (3:00 wedding) but can do any other day in June.

Wow...this is hard.

I may be free on May 18th Saturday now. My plans for that day seem to be falling apart. We can do a lunch for around 2:00.

Melanie....the Phillies are at home Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

How does that look for everyone? I am still waiting to hear back from my friends I orginally had plans with, but I think those plans are not going to work out.

My wife & I are free 99.9% of the time on weekends so anytime is okay for us. I prefer a Saturday but Sunday will work as long as it's not too late since I work at 3am on Mondays.
Are any other men going? I don't want to be the oddball in the group

My husband will be there because I don't drive in Philly.

Hahaha! Not scared just don't want it to be awkward.

I don't mind driving in Philly I just don't like to park over there. I usually take the speedline from Woodcrest Station.

If we decide soon, I can try to ask off for the 18th of May. Maybe I can talk my husband into going...

And if he comes we will still take the train - he does not like to drive in Philly.

May 18th should be good for me. My move will be finished by then. I could probably talk my husband to come with me, but that would involve me bringing our 4 year old too.
