We started doing the tours. I've read different books, I.e. Hidden Mickeys, scavenger Hunt, Hidden Secrets and we try to find the things that we haven't noticed or seen yet.

We now take our time. We also are on a quest to try different foods/snacks/restaurants.

Our next trip I am going to try the cinnamon rolls at Gaston's Tavern...

Our goal is to someday eat something from every sit down restaurant in WDW. And to stay at each resort at least once.

We also make a point to stop and watch more street performers.

We've done Keys to the Kingdom and plan to do Behind the Seeds on our next trip. Want to take the steam train tour but DS is too young. We also like to try a new restaurant when we are there each trip. I always try a new drink in the WS.

Last trip I picked something that I wanted to take pictures of in each park. One thing that helped with that was the Agent P adventure in the World Showcase. The adventure takes you to a lot of the areas that you may not stop to see otherwise.

They are as big as your head!!!!!

We, too, are enjoying staying at different resorts. Until a few years ago, I never even stayed on property. Now I just love it!

I think our upcoming trip is going to be our 17th. The main way we keep things fresh is by staying at different resorts. Since we have been so often we now like to take our time, no more rushing, and we spend a decent amount of time at our resort. It's amazing how each resort can make your trips so different from each other. We still have several resorts left to try, a lot of places we still haven't eaten, and we've only done one tour. So I see many more trips where we can do new things.

We also go at all different times of the year, which can make trips very different depending on what Disney has going on.

Another thing we have started doing is making sure we do one thing that we have never done in Disney before. Last trip we went to the fork and screen theater. Just little things that keep it feeling fresh and new.

    Next Trip: ???

We make a list of what's new or what's changed before every trip. We always do anything that's new or updated since our last visit. Once we took our time in animal kingdom and did the animals treks, that was fun and different. We always fit in a new restaurant or two outside of the must dos, hopefully one day we will have done most of them! Lol. One trip we made a point to doall the play type shows, nemo and lion king, beauty and the beast etc., normally we skip those. One trip we took our time and watched all the side shows while walking through the parks.

We also try to add at least one new dining experience each trip. The downside being that if it is really good, then you have another favourite that you somehow have to fit in . . .

Like many other folks here, we have slowed down and taken the time to enjoy and really look around us. We also are looking into the entertainment, in park and in resorts. It's amazing how fast these trips can go, though.

After so many visits, Disney is now our relaxing vacation, which I know is a really foreign concept to a lot of people who think it has to be a crazy busy trip. But we know we'll always be back someday soon so we never fret about not getting on a certain ride. We tend to enjoy the park scenery more and just meander along to whatever we come across that doesn't have a long line. We also always take a break during the middle of the day and go back to the hotel for a swim. We love that we know the parks so well that we don't have to think about where we're going, yet there is always something new to do every trip.

Funny how going to WDW can kinda get you in a rut. However, this last time we tried several different things.

    1. We rode the railroad - strange that 6 previous trips, we had never done it. I didn't realize how fast you could get to the far corners of the park that way.

    2. Tom Sawyer Island - the kids were finally old enough to run around by themselves and enjoy. And I enjoyed it, too, though I with Auntie Ann's would've been open. The menu looks pretty good.

    3. Got my son's haircut. Did it once, and probably never again.

    4. Went back to the resort for a swim in the middle of a MK day. We had 3 days there, so I decided to let the kids swim in the crazy winter heat.

    5. Tony's Town Square - I've always skipped this as it often receives bad reviews. I'll never skip it again. It was really good Italian (for a guy who probably doesn't know what good Italian is).
My name is Gator. You killed my Sorcerer's Hat. Prepare to die.

    1. We try to find the hidden magic. There is a book called that. Helps find the little details that are easy to miss. Talk to the CM - they often will point things out that you would have missed. They showed my boys where the ring is at the HM. It was moved with the renovations and the new interactive queue. Also ask the CMs about backstories. They love to share what they know.

    2. We eat new places like other posters said.

    3. Try a new tour - Behind the Seeds was awesome and quite affordable!

    4. Take the boat from EPCOT to Boardwalk/BC if you haven't before.

This will be my 17th trip since 1999 and there is always something new!

Twenty-two trips and I finally learned to S-L-O-W D-O-W-N and smell the flowers, people-watch, enjoy the resort, and talk with my family.

When you're trying to get your money's worth out of your vacation, it's run-run-run the whole day. You have to squeeze as much in as possible.

Now that I've got a few trips under my belt, it's nice to take it easy.

I think alot of people have mentioned this...we just like to slow down and take our time. We aren't in a rush, and now I'm starting to try more restaurants that we haven't done before. It's so wonderful to just take it all in at a leisurely pace! And we spend alot of time enjoying the food and just enjoying the atmosphere.
