Default If you only do one park, Universal Studios or IOA?

We are going to Disney in February and plan on one day at either Universal or IOA. We have been to Disney but never to Universal or IOA.
My boys are 6 & 13, which park would be the best for them?

I would add park to park access and express pass and do both in one day.

But given the choice between either park I say IOA that's where HP and JP are. My kids loved those the most when we were there. The only problem with IOA is it has a some thrill rides which DS10 (at the time) didnt care for and DS 7(at the time) wanted to ride the hulk, dragon challenge, and doom, but was too short.

We really didnt spend a lot of time at US.

    Have fun!

I would take a look at the attractions in both parks and see which one appeals to them more. If they are into HP or Seuss then IOA is it. If they liked MIB or Despicable Me then US is the obvious choice.

I would have to say that given your timing, you may be able to hit the highlights in both. For four people, the difference between the single and park-to-park is $140.

On our first trip to Universal during a Disney visit, we planned on 2 days and they had such a great time, we acutally went back for a 3rd day (we got the 2 day +1 free pass)

If you are only doing one day, do IOA... Otherwise, take two and see both parks... You won't be disappointed...

BRODIE: Hey, now, be fair. EVERYONE wants Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

I would go with IOA. If your budget allows, then add park to park.

If only 1 day, IoA, especially with boys their age. You have Hulk, Spiderman, Jurrasic Park, WWoHP, Seussland.

IOA. Much more there. Studios is practically all simulator rides now. It does have some kid friendly attractions like Despicable Me (meh) and Shrek 4D...but overall IOA is the better park right now.

Thanks everyone. I will definitely look into IOA as that seems to be the way to go!

I like Universal Studio better, but I would take a look at their website with your kids to see what attractions they are more interested in.

I like 'em both. But if I could only visit one, I'd choose IOA.
