Default Princess Girls Christmas Kick-Off Day 2 Epcot!

Normally our first park day would be Magic Kingdom, but beings we booked the trip in September reservations were harder to get, so I needed to be a little flexible with traditions!

Rise and Shine.... It's time to make our 8:10 reservation at Askerhaus. No problems here. We all got a good night's sleep, and were out by the buses by 7:20. Epcot bus is waiting. We hurry to make it on, and there is NO ONE on the bus. Just us...a private bus for us. The driver waited a few more minutes and nobody else came.
    NICE!!!!
We enjoyed our short ride over to Epcot, the weather was a little overcast and a nice 64 degrees. Some Floridians had on their Northface jackets, hats and gloves, but us NJ folk, had shorts, tee-shirts, and light weight longsleeves until it warmed up. I could not have been happier with the weather forecast personally. My trip last August had me sweating from the second I left our room.
It's 7:45 when we walk through the gates at Epcot. Loved the Christmas topiary that greeted us!
We head over to Norway, and it is so peaceful. Just love getting into the park before the masses!!!
We were family #5 waiting for our table. Got right in, and had our picture with Belle taken. This is my families favorite breakfast. Morgan and Madison always ask to do this (still at 12&11), and Fred and I enjoy it as well. The food and Princess interaction are good, and still just one credit on the Dining plan! We enjoyed our breakfast and the coffee...mmmm...real coffee, yum!!! Being well fed and caffeined up, we head out to The Land!! Soarin' has a 15 wait time, so we grab some fast passes for later, and get in line now to ride. Great flight to California!!! Love this attraction. Did our boat tour through the land, headed over to Nemo and friends, hung out in there for a little while did both Nemo and Turtle Talk with Crush, and Maddie wanted to see I think maybe the shark being fed, after we were done here, we caught another flight on Soarin'. When finished we grabbed another fast pass to ride again. Made our way out and headed over to Mousegears because the girls money was burning a hole in their pocket!! They really wanted mouse ear headbands, and I suggested they buy them at the beginning of the trip so they could wear them! Black sequined mouse ears were purchased by both girls, and they happily went on their way over to Mission Space.
Fred and I sat this one out, and it was so nice outside that we sat outside and waited for them. After space we spent some time in Innovations, and did the weather exhibit, which was very interesting to me after experiencing Hurricane Sandy, and the girls also did the make your own thrill ride experience.
From here we went to Spaceship earth. It was relaxing!
Back over to the Land found us with a front row flight on Soarin' and a quick bite to eat over at Sunshine Seasons. One of our favorite counter services!
We were done in Future World, and now heading over to the World Showcase. I did spend some time in front of the fountain! I love the fountain! Pretty late afternoon sun on the lake made me smile!
Started in Mexico with a margarita , a Madison gift shop purchase inside, and a boat ride, we did both the boat ride and the movie in Norway, and enjoyed an outdoor acrobatic show in China. A Caramel snack in Germany, the movie in America (LOVED IT) and then it was 6:30pm and time for our Teppan Edo reservation! Wouldn't you know it, there was an electrical outlet right where we were sitting to wait for our table to be ready. Powering up the cell phones for a few minutes. Very productive waiting time!
Had a great meal at Teppan Edo. It was fun, and delicious, and it went too fast!
We left there around 7:45, and continued on our World Showcase tour. Stop in France for some Grey Goose Slushies for Fred and I, stop in the UK at the Twinings Tea Shop, and Gary's Column, where it was busy...Off Kilter was playing up a storm! Such a fun band!!!
Stayed there for a while, and got our spot for illuminations. It was a great spot! We enjoyed Reflections of Earth!
Tonight Epcot had extra magic hours until midnight, which worked to our benefit because the buses were not crazed! We got right out of the park and back to the hotel by 10. We all got seats on the bus too!
Good Epcot Day! I will admit, Test Track was sorely missed by my family. It is one of ouf favorite attractions. We did a lot in Epcot today, the lack of heat just made it so much more pleasurable! I LOVE FLORIDA IN NOVEMBER!!!
    Thanks for reading!
Stay turned for Day 3 Magic Kingdom!
