SBETigg Live (late): Day Four and Beyond

When last we met, we'd been at the Living Seas meet? I think? So after Soarin', the Seas, a great breakfast, good company, and meeting Mickey Mouse in his surfer dude outfit, we proceeded to enjoy Epcot. What's not to love?

Well, I went back to my room and wrote, because deadline. But then headed back to Epcot in time for the Cava del Tequila meet. WOW. Epcot got crowded. I mean, the most crowded wall-to-water World Showcase crowds I have ever seen. It was insane. And the line for Cava was wrapped around the whole front of Mexico. But I bravely stood in that line to get a Blood Orange Margarita so I could report back to you that it was delicious. The things I do for you.

I sampled some WS samples on my way to the Off Kilter Meet (and ended up missing Off Kilter, those lines were long). Hawaii's Kahlua Slider, excellent. Greece's griddled cheese, meh. That one did not live up the hype (Jared). Canada's mushroom filet with truffle butter, pretty darn good. Oh, I got to keep an eye on Cindy's (AgentC) son for about a minute while I was in line for Canada, but he did not take a shine to me (probably because I wasn't in the zebra pants).

Met up with the stragglers at Off Kilter (I don't think Mel can tear herself away and they were about to perform again). So I finally got to meet Mel, yay! And Meg, yay! And spend some more time with Carol (Kylesmom) and Cindy. So that was awesome... but... the best part...

Gary's Column. Yes, we met, we toasted, we climbed (well, Mikki climbed) and got yelled at by security. Does it get any better? Got to meet Amber (Bleukarma) and spend more time with more wonderful ICOT folks.

Unsung hero, Christine's husband John. Everywhere we went, John was snapping pictures and I hope he got to have some fun, too. Thanks, John!

Amy (Mousefever), Kathy (Tikigoddess) and I got our shop on in Japan and had a (mostly) peaceful and tasty meal at Katsura Grill. I still think it's one of my favorite counter service places. Maybe avoid the sushi here, but try the udon. And green tea ice cream, yum.

Later, we finally got over to Norway and had some fun chatting with everyone gathering to go in. So glad I got to catch up more with Rachel (redheadedwriter) and Amber. And Gary. And inside, John Y made a speech about our friendships that brought me to tears because, I'm mushy like that, and it's so true that this site has brought us all together and brought some truly amazing, wonderful people into my life. I'm very appreciative.

Our fearless leaders didn't only make it an outstanding meet, but they've made a great place for us all to get to know Disney and each other better. Unfortunately, I missed the podcast because I was rearranging my travel plans, and I didn't get to say thank you in person again, but thank you, thank you, thank you. Well done.

I have enjoyed read your Icot 15 reports. It's sounds like everyone was have a fantastic time. These Intercot folks really do seem like some very nice people, wish that DW and I could have been there.

Yes! Thank you for approaching me. You caught me when I was overwhelmed, so many new faces, and then suddenly it was a moment when I could put names to faces and it was so great to catch up.

He had just bought some Puffles that came with Club Penguin codes.If you had been carrying a laptop that he could have used to sign on to Club Penguin , he would have been your best friend.

But I still want pictures of the zebra pants.
