It is pretty, but pretty doesn't cut it when there are other problems. I just finished up doing a Survey about our stay at AoA that was sent to my email. I railed about the food court experience we had. I hope they make some minor changes to make it all that it has the potential to be.
I've had similar mornings here at Pop (afternoons and evenings too). One morning I wanted to pay cash for an apple and a milk, you know, to simplify things? Well that was too easy, because three of the four open registers were ground to a halt while the manager ran back and forth trying to solve some issue. I swear at one register a custodian had to solve the problem.

    This saddens me greatly...

I may have an explanation for this. The fall college program just started a few weeks ago
and they put a lot of those kids in Quick Service Food roles. They probably seemed confused because they were new and had just been trained.

Uh, no. These were not college program kids. Not even close. Most of them were around middle age (40-50's).

It really did seem to be a case of CM's not really knowing who was supposed to be doing what, and no upper level CM managing the situation. There were 4 people standing around where the waffles and hot stuff were being served up (1 actually filling orders, three standing around doing nothing). The make your own yogurt parfait is RIGHT next to this area, and yet, none of the people would lay claim to it. They kept saying "I don't know who is supposed to be at that station, but it's not my job." Stuff like that. And, the CM serving up the waffles really gave us a hard time about ordering the adult waffle for our kids (even though we were not on the DDP and she never asked if we were...it was like she assumed we were and kept trying to push the kids meal). Just kind of annoying and weird.
