fwiw if you want to make it all the way around stick with beer.

Every year i say im going to do it, i usually make tequilla sake jager and 4-5 car bombs and im done.

If you can get tiw card get it. Totaly worth it when you get a big tab rollin.

Since we are going during F&W, perhaps you should hang on to the strollers from the race Saturday morning.

Love the Moroccarita - it's a frozen margarita with vodka instead of tequila. Smooth and so yummy.

First and foremost, if you like wine, do the wine walk. It's 6 small pours of wine in France, Italy, and Germany (2 in each country) for $20.

I've never completed a world tour. But here are a few of my favorites:
England: Cider and Black (hard cider and black currant liqueur)
France: Grey Goose Limon Slush or Grand Mariner Orange Slush
    America: Sam Adams
    Germany: Ice Wine
Mexico: any of La Cava Del Tequila's specialty margaritas.

My daughter and I did Drink Around the World two years ago, and my absolute favorite was the Grand Marnier Slushie in France.

Least favorite was some hot wine from England. Supposed to be a Christmas punch, but it was absolutely awful.

Wish they would offer half-size drinks for occasional drinkers like me. I was almost hammered into the ground after the GM Slushie. Not a good feeling.

I saw someone mention Strongbow was available in England. Does anyone know if they have it on tap?? There is no bar where we live that has it on tap, and my husband raves about a bar he used to go to in Ohio that had it on tap and it was his favorite. Would love to surprise him....

And that beer/bière helps us navigate our lesser known half of the bilingualism, in my case French, more confidently than we might otherwise.

They did in the summer ... outside of the pub. ALSO .... if you are doing any grocery runs whilst you are down, you can buy the cans at the Super Walmart.

Didn't do Italy or UK yet. DAWS in 2 weeks! Can't wait!!
The shot of vodka you had in Norway was actually Akvavit! Akvavit is the national drink in Norway and has a really distinctive taste from the herbs and spices they use. I do agree that it is pretty strong!
