Default What movies would you choose...

if they ever rethemed Pop Century to match the Art of Animation resort?

My five picks would be Alice in Wonderland, Jungle Book, Snow White, The Incredibles and Bug's Life.

Fun idea! Our girls would love a Pixie Hollow theme. There are too many to choose from. An Alice in Wonderland theme would be great, but I would get a bigger kick out of the Tim Burton version.

    Alice in Wonderland (original animated)
    The Nightmare Before Christmas
A Bug's Life could be amazing, I love the land at DLR.
    Monsters Inc.
I also love Mr. Toad and Wall-E, but I'm not really sure what the themeing would be, exactly. Toad Hall for Mr Toad, of course, but I'm not sure that's a big enough concept for a resort. And for Wall-E, I guess the choices are piles of junk or cruise ship.

I like 'em too, on one hand you have drunken weasels, on the other, the dismal post-apocalypse. I'm not sure the kids and parents would be that into it either way.

    I'd probably go with:
Peter Pan - pirates, pajamas, etc. - good for themeing
Beauty and the Beast - Tie in to new Fantasyland - princess factor for girls
Winnie the Pooh - fun theming possibilities
Star Wars - Disney... well yes and no. But it is definitely the "Pop" in Pop Century
Brave - Well, it's new! Why not take advantage of it before 5 or more years go by?

    My WORST ideas:
The Black Cauldron - how many kids on the planet under 18 have seen this one? 5? 10?
Bambi - they could have burned forest rooms and they could play the end of the movie on resort TV on a cotinoius loop so kids could cry themselves to sleep
Fantasia - "Mommie, can we get a room with a Satan vs. the Undead theme? Please!!!"
Home on the Range - What should the resort smell like? Like the film I suppose?
