Character Signatures
A few years ago, you used to be able to take a pillowcase, postcard, etc. with a marker in a plastic bag and leave it at guest services (I think that's where it was) with your name and stateroom number and, on the last night of your trip, you'd get it back signed by all of the characters. Is this still an option and, if it is, is it only for little kids or can the kids-at-heart do it, too?

You might want to consider several different color markers, and I've heard that the characters like to snack on nice candy from your baggie while they're signing your items.
Last year on the Dream we were able to this but they only allowed two per cabin regardless of age.
We had colored markers and candy for them to snack on (Chip and Dale like little bags of trail mix!) and had them sign a mat for a 5x7 picture and a plain canvas mat board. both look great framed with pictures from our Trip!

If you do have them sign a mat, be sure to mark off the areas that will be covered by the frame. We didn't do that and many of the signatures were cut off once we put it back in the frame.
And yes, don't forget the treats and the multi-colored markers.

We had two tote bags signed by the characters last year on the Dream. They turned out sooo stinkin' cute! We also included a box of chocolates from a local candy shop -- thinking it might be cool for them to get something from our hometown that they can't get anywhere else. My daughter wasn't even with me when I went to Guest Services (most likely, she was too busy with the aqua duck to be bothered ) and no one asked me if it was for a child.
