The parks will only be connected via the Hogwarts Express ride. There are no plans that I have seen for any type of pathway, especially since most of the physical ride will take place through the "backstage" area and the parks are pretty far apart anyway. . . .

IOA and USO actually border each other in the backstage areas (away from the park entrances), so they are not very far apart at all. That doesn't necessarily mean that they are planning a connecting walkway. But they could easily do it if they wanted to. From behind the Poseidon's Fury/Sinbad/Dueling Dragons are it is only two blocks to Studio Dr. in USO (by Rip, Ride 'n Rockit). But I have heard of no plans to do this. It will be interesting to see how they handle the option of getting on Hogwarts Express in USO and getting off in the WWoHP, or even if they will allow that option.

Track has now arrived on property for the Gringott's coaster... The tracks may start getting installed soon, as they continue to cover the show building with the outer walls... King's Cross has also started to go vertical...

Not a simulator.... Not even close... Think Spiderman/Transformers/Mummy dark ride/coaster hybrid... With some coaster elements, some dark ride elements, with scenes that will be in 3D....

Oh and one heck of a goblin filled queue!!!

It sounds great. The mummy as an attraction is the best coaster out there and if this is going in that direction it will be amazing.

My understanding is, as long as plans stay this way and don't change, the Gringott's queue will be an attraction all by itself, though not listed as one... That is how detailed the queue is supposed to be...

Chew on some new Potter rumors:

Weasley's Wizard Wheezes will be a merchandise store and attraction all its own... Current talk is Fred and George will make an appearance in the store, the same way Ron, Hermoine, and Harry appear in the FJ queue... And the store will come complete with Weasley's Wildfire Whiz Bangs display.. Yes, indoor fireworks!!!

Oh, and Lord Voldmort may be part of the story in Diagon Alley.... Where his appearance will be? No clue...
