Vague (for now) Pixie Dust

So I have something really important happening soon and for fear of the lack of anonymity on the internet, I am not going to post what that thing is here at this time (Sorry!). If it goes well, I promise an update but I thought I'd ask for Pixie Dust anyway... because this thing is really REALLY important to me and you are a very supportive bunch

Again, I promise updates as soon as I can but for now, "better safe than sorry" doesn't mean I don't need support

So the thing went really really really well, but I can't talk about it yet... I have a feeling I will be posting some very good news in the next two weeks (I seriously hope I'm not wrong though... stinks getting hopes up for no reason!)

Hi all!!

Thank you again for all the kind words and thoughts... they totally paid off!

Not that it was all that subtle, but I have been in the market for a new job. I am a teacher and I have been very unhappy in my current school (for various reasons). The kids are amazing... it is some of the grown-ups that I needed to move on from.

ANYWAY

Last week I had a demonstration lesson with an AMAZING new school that concentrates on the arts. And last night... they offered me the job I will still be teaching 7th grade language arts, but the environment will be very different... and I couldn't be happier!!!!!!!

Thank you all again for the kid words. I've been going through a pretty rough patch at work and the only thing that has gotten me through the day often was knowing that "In ____ days I'll be in Disney World." Well, now when I go to Disney it will be to celebrate this new beginning
