DDP price change during peak season

I am trying to put together some pricing for a friend of my DD's. Looking at next year arriving 5/24 or 25, departing about 1 week later. According to Info central the price jumps by $2 per day starting June 3rd. Does Disney treat this like other ressies (by check in date) or will we be charged different prices for part of the stay (it has been a long time since we traveled this time of year). Thanks!

Hard to say, I know if the room only rate changes over the course of your stay, your res is adjusted accordingly. On the other hand, I had a friend who recently stayed during the free DDP time, and she said it was free the entire trip as long as her check in date was within the timeframe.
