We received an email from the concierge staff asking us if we had any room requests...never stayed here before, so not sure what we should ask for! Tried to do some research online, but didn't really find anything.

Anyone have any advise? An area we should shoot for or avoid completely?

We will also be staying in the Sugar Loaf building in July, and we got the same e-mail (It's nice that someone cares enough to ask, isn't it! ) . I responded by telling them that I would like an upper level room with a balcony, and preferably with a view of the Marina. We based these requests on what we found out about the building during our research. I think the view choices are Marina or Pool, and there are upper and lower level floors. I also found out that there are some rooms that do not have a balcony, but have a little sitting area instead. So our choices were based on that information.

When we stayed there we were on the first floor off the lounge area - I would recommend a floor higher up just to get away from the "traffic" of the lounge which is located on the first floor.

Just got back from a fantastic stay at the GF's Sugar Loaf building. We always request an upper level floor, with a view of the pool/balcony, and a king-size bed. We have always gotten what we wanted.
