Are there hair dryers in the rooms on the ships? I can't remember & I don't see it anywhere

Yes. The two new ships have a fairly decent hair dryer in the room. You need to plug it in to a special outlet in the desk area. It's not the best dryer, but much better than the Wonder/Magic ones. You'll probably find it in one of the drawers in a cloth bag.
