    Default Poll: Best Character breakfast

My brother-in-law and his family are going to Disney for the 1st time. They want to do a character breakfast...they have 4 kids. 3 boys ages 14, 8, 3 and 1 girl age 5. Any suggestions that might make all of them happy??

My two favorites for character breakfast are Ohana and 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian but based on the ages and genders of the children listed, I think Ohana may be the better choice of my two. Ohana has Mickey & friends and Lilo & Stitch plus you can't beat the Poly.

There is also a Mickey and friends character buffet with a beach theme at Cape May at the Beach Club which is nice. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

Donald's Safari Breakfast is the best breakfast on property, I've said it many times.

Only bested by Donald's Breakfastosaurus, which the safari breakfast replaced.

My favorites are Ohanas and Donald's Safari breakfast at Tusker House.

I personally prefer the buffet options at Tusker House. It has all the basics plus some nice extras.

Ohanas has less variety due to the family style service but that can make pictures with the characters easier. We've always had great character interaction there.

Another vote for Tusker House. Definitely the best character meal on property.

Chef Mickeys is by far the best character breakfast to us at least. There is such a huge variety of things to eat, you get Mickey and the gang all at once, a short monorail ride over to MK afterwards.. can't beat it! Perfect way, especially if you have kids, to start a day in WDW! O'hana would be my second choice because I love the Poly and all you care to eat breakfast.. love me some mickey waffles!!!!
Been there, Haven't done it all...GOING BACK!!!

For a character meal, I choose Chef Mickey's.

The Donald's Safari Breakfast is the best breakfast on property. This statement I agree 100%. We've been to everyone and this is the only one I would say is worth a repeat for both the food as well as the experience.

Tusker House at Animal Kingdom - Donald's Safari Breakfast. Gives you a great start to the day at AK park. Has some of the great Classic Disney characters - Donald, Daisy, Mickey - Decent food for a buffet. Then after breakfast - you spend the rest of your day at AK.

I would say 1900 Park Fare or Crystal Palace. 1900 Park Fare has characters that both boys and girls will enjoy. Also, Crystal Palace has Winnie The Pooh which both boys and girls will enjoy. At first I would have said Akershus, but it is all princesses and not sure how the boys would enjoy JUST dealing with Princesses all morning for breakfast. But I believe Akershus is the best character breakfast IMO, but not for boys lol.

We are going next year with another family. Total number of kids will be 8 (ages ranging from 3 - 13) with 3 girls and 5 boys. We decided to take the girls to Akershus and the boys are going to Cape May. We asked the girls who they wanted to go with the moms or the dads. They thought it would be nice to have a daddy date to the breakfast. I don't know if that is something that would interest the family you are speaking of. But the boys and us moms will take them to Cape May and then take the boat (or walk) over to Epcot. All the kids are excited about this plan.

But for the whole family, you can't beat Chef Mickey's
