Wilderness Lodge Standard View Question

We are going to be staying at WL for the first time in September. We did Standard View because we typically stay value and wanted to upgrade with the free dining.
I have read that the Standard View can be very bad. So my question is, is there a specific area to request that is better than others? We are a party traveling with 10 so we have 3 rooms...any chance that they are limited on SV rooms and possibly upgrade? I know...we should not expect that and I don't...just thought I would ask...lol.

We stayed at WL this past Sept and had a standard view room. It was actually quite nice and it overlooked the "quiet" pool. We are going again this Sept too and I hope we get a room in the same vicinity (we had room 4213). As far as getting an upgrade, I think it would be highly unlikely with the size of your party and due to the fact that Sept is a slower month....but you never know!!!
