on the wdw site it says that the Magic Behind the steam trains tour is handicapped accessible.

Has anyone done this? My brother would LOVE it, but uses crutches to walk VERY short distances (less than 100 feet) and otherwise is in a wheelchair (he'll be using an ECV for the trip).

    Thoughts?

I did this tour with DS11 last year. Much of the tour takes place at the Main St station, then you are riding the train back to the round house. I know the train and the station are accessible. Then you go around a small portion of the round house, but nothing goes where he wouldn't be able to go. I think he would be able to do it with no problems. I would double-check when you call to book the tour, but I can't think of anything that would present a problem for him on this tour.

I would give Disney a call at 407 WDW-TOURS and ask them. In the past when I have made reservations for tours they have always been very helpful with letting me know which tours are ECV friendly. There are some that it truely is impossible to use an ECV.
