    Default Cabins at Ft Wilderness

We are thinking about a two night stay, after our Disney Dream cruise this coming April/May
and we are looking at the cabins at Ft Wilderness as a possibility. There will be 6 of us. The question I have is for anybody who has stayed there. We arent (as yet) planning on a rental car, so Im wondering about walking distance to bus transport and such. How far away are the cabins from the bus stations? Or how long of a walk? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in adbance.

It really depends on the cabin that you get. I usually request the 2500 loop. It is a short loop and near the pool and bus stop.

we love the cabins and have stayed there several times. There are bus stops between the loops, so its never too far to catch an internal bus. Plus, you can go to the beach and watch the water pageant OR go to the campfire singalong

A bus stop is never very far from any particular cabin. Do keep in mind, though, that going from a cabin in Fort Wilderness to one of Disney's parks generally requires two busses - the bus you pick up close to your cabin and the one you transfer to in order to reach the park of your choice.
