Anyway, what exactly is the sit down dinner all about? Something about dining with Belle? I felt it was a little unclear, but I'd consider it for a meal if it was something unique and it was available for the DDP.

I sure hope you are right!!! We watched Beauty and the Beast 3-D last night and all i could think of was I hope that portion of the Fantasy land is up and running for our late Oct trip

Again, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, but this is another part of the FL expansion that very few details have been released. I didn't even realize there was an announcement of it opening in June.

I don't think you're wrong, because I can't find any announcements either. I was tempted to just call WDW for the info, but then I thought that I'd get a more direct and honest answer here. It's kind of odd, but I trust Intercot more than Disney itself for getting info. I can't even figure out what Be Our Guest is all about. Is it a character meal or what? So confused. Lol

I was just reading about it and it said there would be three dining areas - one that looked like the library, one looked like the West Wing with the floating rose and then the last like a ballroom. They are anticipating it will be by ADR but they are still unsure of the cuisine. They are contemplating French food since that is the atmosphere but I am hoping it is more rounded out than that because not everyone likes French food so it would be more choices for anyone wanting to try it out. Let's hope it is opened by the end of the year.

I would love to see Be Our Guest open for our September trip. We aren't a fan of anything in the Magic Kingdom (maybe Crystal Palace for breakfast but it still isn't a must do). We are looking forward to something new for the MK.

Is the policy of no alcohol going to stick when these new restaurants open? I don't think you can have a real restaurant without it. I don't care either way but some people are fanatic about their wine with dinner. Also isn't one called Gasteu's Tavern? Does that imply alcohol?

They may not classify it as one if it is just Luminere being pushed around on a cart.... Les Chefs still isn't a character meal but Remy is surely there M-Sat

Along with Liberty Tree Tavern, Tortuga Tavern, etc. The alcohol policy will not change. If it does, I'll buy you all a drink!
