    Question Escorting Aunt to Airport

I am going to WDW for a week this fall - Sunday to Sunday. My 70 year-old aunt will be joining me for the first few days and then flying home alone on Wednesday.

Initially I was going to hire a limo to pick us up at the airport but I think I am going to use DME because of the convenience of luggage delivery.

Last night we were discussing the logistics and she commented on how I was going to "go with" her to the airport, "right?". Hmmm. Not really what I had planned but, okay, I can do that.

So now I am looking at:
DME to the resort upon arrival on Sunday (us)
?? to the airport Wednesday morning (us)
?? back to resort/park after she is settled in (me)
DME to the airport Sunday afternoon (me)

Does anyone have a suggestion on the best way to accomplish this without it costing an absolute fortune? Pawning her off on a fellow DME passenger Wednesday morning is not an option. She is AWESOME and I don't want to do anything that makes her even a tiny bit nervous.

Try a one day car rental. They are very affordable and it would let you leave on your terms, etc.

I think it would be worth a try to call and explain the situation. They might let you ride DME there and back if you explain the circumstances.

I would try that too. I bet they would be more than accomodating.

"It's snowing still," said Eeyore gloomily.
    "So it is."
    "And freezing."
    "Is it?"
"Yes," said Eeyore. "However," he said, brightening up a little, "we haven't had an earthquake lately."

If you can afford it, I agree with the one day car rental. Alamo has a rental on property by the car care center near MK. Ask about whether they deliver or pick you up. Even if they allow you to ride ME with her, you'll most of your day doing that. They pick you up 3 hours ahead of time, you have to wait until she checks in, then you have to get a bus back.
Too numerous visits to count. Resorts stayed at include:

    Bay Lake Tower
    Contemporary
    Fort WIlderness
    Beach Club Villas
    Yacht Club
    Board Walk Villas
    Swan
    Dolphin
    Polynesian
    Port Orleans Riverside
    Saratoga Springs
    Animal Kingdom Lodge
    Wilderness Lodge Villas
    WIlderness Lodge
