 Muppets
First of all, if you haven't seen the new movie, go, it is awesome!
But i noticed that with the relsease of the Muppet movie there has been a lot of promotion. Appearing on talk shows, they were all over the Disney parade tv show.
I'm wondering if there's any chance the characters will be out in the park, i'm assuming HS in the Muppet land would be the place.
I know they use to come out, my dad had his picture taken. I would LOVE to have a picture w/ Animal.

I am wondering this, as well. I saw the movie 3 times, already! It really is probably my favorite film of 2011.
I am hoping I can at least get a plush Walter, at the Muppetvision giftshop.

it was really a great movie. If anyone is hesitant for any reason, rest assured you will love it....that is unless you're not in the mood to laugh, smile, and feel good when you leave the theatre.

Agreed, this was the first movie we actually went to see in some time. Excellent. I as well am hoping they use this as a spring board to bring the Muppets back to prominence.

Wanted to see it, but time didn't allow for it before it left our town. (small town, 2 theaters with combined 9 screens)
But I have some of the few children of the "next" generation (I'm in my 40s with kids in 20s and late teens) that know who the Muppets are. We've watched all the movies, have the 1st three seasons of the Muppet show on DVD - So they got most of the jokes during the Muppet Experience at DHS. I Love that I could pass that on to my children.

The full sized characters haven't appeared in quite some time. I got my picture taken with Kermit and Piggy back in '02 and I believe they were retired not too long after. There was a problem with the costume design and as far as I know they were never updated. I was hoping they'd do a little bit more in the parks considering how much promotion the movie received across various media.

I believe my daughter was 4 when we saw them last...that would make it 07..behind Muppet Vision...next to their gift shop....I also saw them in the parade in DHS...I think 2 years ago....Kermit and Piggy in a car...
