Best way to get to City Walk

Hello--
Just planned trip for March..Staying on Disney property, however, we are flying in and want to make it over to City Walk for something new, but do not have a car unless we rent one.

What is the best way to get there from a Disney resort??

Here are travel options.

Are you looking to go for just an evening? Perhaps you could rent a car for a day and combine your time there with some other off-site activities such as shopping at the outlet malls?

Thats what we would like to do but for how many times we have been there...we always used our own car or disney buses.

How do you go about renting a car from your resort? Any particular companies that are better? Thanks

National and Alamo are on-site at Walt Disney World. You can rent from the Car Care Center (They will pick you up at your Disney Resort and return you to your resort when you return the car). There is also a car rental location at the Dolphin. Hertz is located at Shades of Green. In my opinion, the best one is the least expensive.

On one trip, I was pricing cars from both Alamo and National at the Dolphin and found that there were price differences between them - even for the same class car and the same duration of rental!
