Losing AirTran

It seems that flying to Orlando will be difficult and expensive after Jan.
Other choices go to Sanford and Tampa.
Does anyone have advice on transport from these airports?

We have flown to Tampa the last few times going. On our trip in Sept, I got a rental car from Alamo for $111 for 8 days. Join their club and search the internet for coupon codes. With Alamo, you can use more than one code. I actually prefer Tampa....smaller airport and rental car counters are right across the walkway. We flew Jet Blue and the savings flying from Boston to Tampa was over $500!!!!

they will be leaving us as of dec 10 as well (MLI). we happen to be on their last flight to our airport so it will be interesting after that. i have flown into sanford before (took the kids for a quick trip to daytona beach, then beach club for a few days) and it was fine, but it is pretty far from wdw.

going forward we will probably still try to fly into mco but may just have to connect in chi or atl, unfortunately. we are really going to miss the direct flights.
