Default DP with Multiple People Question

My friend and I are brining our girls to WDW in February. We'll be sharing a room and are on the DP. My questions is about the DP credits, tips, etc. Will we be able to have separate checks, one for her and her daughter and one for me and mine? I'm thinking this might be the best way to go for keeping things separate. Does anyone have experience with this? This is my first time traveling like this and any help is appreciated.

No, you can't separate the credits. They are all pooled together. Every KTTW card will have access to all the credits at any given time.

I think if you guys have an open conversation about how many credits each person gets per day, and use the "honor system" to make sure each person doesn't use too many credits, it will work out okay.

If you can't trust each other to be honorable, perhaps sharing a room and/or doing the DDP is not the best idea.

Thanks, Natalie, its not an issue of trusting her, just trying to keep things easy is all.

We had the same situation in April 2011. My friend and her DD and Jessi and I all shared a room with the DDP. They were all on our cards as one. We just had to keep track of the snacks mostly. We ate all our meals together so that was not a problem. For the CS meals they ordered their own and so did we. For TS we just used one card since it was all tied in together. We didn't encounter any problems with doing that. Have a great trip. Hope to see you at DL again.
