I love the elephants. I once saw an elephant running down the slope (where they enter and exit the area) and his ears were flapping. It was such an amazing sight to see!
Another time I saw a gorilla get up and beat his chest. Ah, I miss working at AK!

Giraffes... and the tigers. I hate to be indecisive  but we love both!

Lion and lioness.We were on one of the 1st safari rides one morning in Dec.2007 and were coming around the lion den.As the driver was talking everyone was "oohh...ahhh...look"!!   The driver said,"Time to go" and floored it out of there!!! My DS...9 at the time said "They're just mating". Last year was our 1st trip back since then and the 3 of us were prepared.The circle of life they say.I just imagine what my DS will say when he takes his kids on the safari one day.
