Default Full as a tick Sept. 23-30

I took mom back to WDW.

We arrived in Orlando around 6pm on Friday the 23rd. We stayed at the Radisson Lake Buena Vista. The hotel was rather comfortable. A great buy at $64. Mom hit the hot tub and had a great time.

We checked in at the AS-sports at 7am and hit the MK for the rope drop.

I upgraded the free dining plan from the QS to the regular dining plan and as the title suggests; it was too much food.

    We ate at:
    Akershus (mom loved it)
    Coral Reef (great meal)
    Kouzinna (my favorite)
O'hana (mom's favorite watched MNSSHP fireworks over dinner)
50's Prime Time (mom had no-sugar added shake and loved it)

    Highlights from trip:
Rented a pontoon boat at the Poly and explored the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. (thanks for tweeting about the Sea Raycer, Mel.) Mom couldn't get in or out of the little craft, but could roll onto the pontoon. This was Mom's favorite! She told everyone about it. I do mean everyone. Cast members, resort guests, anyone that smiled at her or just said "hi."

We went to the Disney Parks Blog "Trick or Meet" party at the Haunted Mansion after the park closed. It was a costume party so mom loved it. Mom and I rode the HM by ourselves. It was awesome to ride it without any distractions. Doctor Facilier was kind enough to pose with us.

I also got an awesome shot of the Headless Horseman riding through Liberty Square.

We upgraded our package tickets to annual passes. It is a good feeling to know that I can pop in on the mouse anytime now.

Sylvia from right here at INTERCOT took time out of her vacation to help me get mom on the WEDway People Mover and also rode IASW with us. Thank you Sylvia!

All in all it was a great trip. It was way too hot for my comfort and I am looking forward to the cooler December air on our next trip.

Yay Sean! Great to read your report (the title cracks me up!). I'm glad the pontoon boat worked out for you guys and that it was such a highlight for your mom. Love the pic, and in fact all the pics are great.

It HAS been so hot, but happy to report it got down into mid 50s this morning in central FL. Loving it!

Thanks for sharing and congrats on the APs!

God bless you. It sounds and looks like you had a great time. My mom uses a wheelchair at Disney also. I would dearly love her to ride HM with me and take a pontoon ride. She's so stubborn and not exactly open to new experiences anymore so I don't think either are going to happen.

While your trip started out as a real challenge to book, it sure sounds like everything went right as rain, Sean. Enjoyed seeing the pics of you and your mom. Glad you had such a wonderful time and that you jumped aboard the A/P train! Thanks for sharing.
