    Default Express pass pricing

I hope some one can help. I am confused by the pricing for express passes. Right now for the dates I'm looking for express passes are $19.99 for one park and 25.99 for two. I understand that this price can go up. This is where I need some clarification. Is the price for express pass based on how crowded the park is anticipated to be (ie Christmas day would cost more than a slow day) or is it that a certain number of passes are at a set price and once those are gone it gies up to the next price bracket (similar to airline pricing) or is it just cheaper the further out you buy it? I hope this makes sense.

I was hoping to stay on site, but there are no rooms available. If park crowds are manageable then I don't want to buy express passes (especially if it's only for 1x/ride). At the same time I would be very upset if I didn't buy the passes and needed them and now priced out of them if the price went up too much. How likely is it to purchase passes for $20/26 day of???

    Thanks

Yes, the crowd level will really depend on when you are going...

@ jr oriole express passes are universal orlando's version of a fast pass. You can purchase one that allows you to ride certain rides without waiting in the standby line or you get the passes for free using your room key if you are staying at one of universals hotels.

Default Are Express Passes worth the money for a Oct. 23-25th visit?

I am visiting Oct. 23rd-25th (Monday to Wednesday) and I have the same question. The Express Plus passes are expensive enough that I hate to buy them if I don't really need them. But at the same time, I know that by the time I realize I do need them, they will cost more. What do you recommend? Will those days be crowded enough that it would be worth the $80-104 per day extra cost for my family of 4? Also, some people have said that they don't really enforce the "one use per ride" rule. Have you found that to be true?
