Default Just back-- low, low crowds

Hi all. My wife and I just returned Friday night from 5 days at Disney. Thought I'd let everyone know that the crowds were extremely light all week-- even on Sunday and Labor Day Monday. We walked on almost every ride and the longest wait we had was 10 minutes. We did use FP for Soarin' but even that standby was only 30 minutes. TSM had reasonable wait times as well. We walked on RNRC, ToT, ST2 and others. Cast members were all great and every other vacationer we talked to was great as well.

Parks were in great shape and we had a great time. Only negative was some smokers who decided everyone likes to smell their smoke-- give it up folks!!

Anyway, if anyone is ever considering a Labor Day week trip to WDW, I strongly recommend it. I'll post some dining info in that forum, but that was all good as well.

    Welcome to September!

I now firmly believe it's the least crowded time to visit. January used to be up there as well, but not anymore.

Glad you had a nice trip!

Since we are leaving in 3 days and 13 hours (thanks countdown), I am so glad to hear that crowd are light. Just hope our guests from New England like the weather.
Your attention please, the Walt Disney World Railroad is now boarding for a trip around the Magic Kingdom

We check in on Saturday, so I hope this trend continues through next week at least! We (DD-13 and myself) are taking my Mom who hasn't been to Disney in 30 years. Super excited about going back, but dreading the fact that DD is already talking about riding RnRC and ToT. I'm not a thrill ride seeker at all, but I have to ride them with her!

    Default Wooo Whoo!

We leave in two days and it is our first September trip as well. So glad to hear about the lack of crowds. Coming from Texas we will have no complaints about heat or even a bit of rain (kinda have forgotten what it feels like...)

I'm one guest from New England, and I leave in about 34 hours. I can tell you that I don't care how the weather is, as long as I'm not at work, it's a vacation to me!

Haven't visited over Labor Day weekend since 1999, and it wasn't empty then. Parks were packed in early June this year. Good to know there's still some easy touring days left.
    Many visits over 35+ years!

It makes since because it's the first few weeks of school.

In 2004 we were at Epcot the Friday before Labor Day and it was like a ghost town. Except for the scorching temps, it was FANTASTIC.
