I know it hasn't been gone that long, but I miss Spectromagic. I have the music as my ringtone! I also miss Toon Town, but am looking forward to the Fantasyland expansion!

This might sound funny, but I really REALLY miss the original red white and yellow plastic shopping bags. It is amazing how these things change over time, and I will always cherish the original Walt Disney World Font, like this.

4.The OLD Backlot Tour-I was lucky enough to see this one in '95 and it was such a neat thing for a teenager to see. Fast forward to today and I'm not really sure why it's still there if half the attraction is gone. I say revamp or move on.
I agree! I LOVED the old Backlot Tour. It really captured my imagination back in 1989. I LOVED the Honey I Shrunk the Kid part, seeing the behind the scenes work, seeing them ACTUALLY tape shows for the Disney Channel and all of the houses (yay Golden Girls house!).

I also REALLY, REALLY miss Who Wants to Be A Millionaire! I was always SOOOO close to getting up there (perpetually #2 on the leaderboard)! One time my brother-in-law got into the Hot Seat! So much fun!

ALSO, I really miss the original Journey Into Your Imagination and exit area (the rainbow tunnel and the tables where you put your hands on the pins were the best!).

I may be in the minority, but I LOVED Alien Encounter. It scared the **** out of me! On a school trip, we tricked a nun who was chaperoning us to join us on the ride! Boy was she scared (but she LOVED it!).

Finally, I also miss the Superstar Television attraction at the old MGM. I haven't seen it since I was a little kid back when it first opened, but I loved it. My dad was picked to be a news anchor. I was bummed I couldn't be up there with Lucy Ricardo for the chocolate factory scene!

TOTALLY AGREE ON THE FONT! I think they should bring it back!

    Default First post too

This is my first post too and I thought posting to this discussion would be appropriate since I've lately been reminiscing about old attractions that I used to love. Since EPCOT is by far my favorite of the parks, the attractions there are my favorites. I miss the old Horizons pavillion, Wonders of Life pavillion, The Living Seas pavillion, and World of Motion pavillion. While some of the attractions that are there now are great, it's hard to compare to those that are gone or closed because they held to the original purpose of EPCOT to be a community of tomorrow - not another amusement park. Yes, education was a large part of it, but there was so much more interaction than there is now. I wish they would reopen the second floor of the Imagination pavillion - the Image Works. I can't believe that whole section of the building is closed off. The memories.

Sorry to post so many times in a row, but I totally forgot - Character Breakfast on the Empress Lily!

I thought it was the coolest thing ever during our first trip back in 1985. I remember getting a certificate or pin or something. My sister and I were amazed!

I miss Skyway and If You Had Wings. Check IYHW and some other rides on YouTube. Some people have ride throughs from home movies.

I must say, I did like the Alien version rather than the Stitch version. Stitch gives me a rash and the Alien version was truly scary. Loved it. Freaked me out...in the best way, of course.

Wow! This one is tough and a little painful.
I miss If You Had Wings, World of Motion, the original Journey into Imagination, Alien Encounter but one I haven't seen mentioned is the old People Mover. You remember, the one where you could actually see parts of the rides in Tomorrowland. Now, the windows into the rides seem to be in odd places and there's absolutely nothing to see anymore in Space Mountain. Once upon a time you could peek into Wings and see some exotic locale, then mosey by and see what was on the stage next to what is now Buzz to see if you were interested and you could check out the line in Space Mountain and get a little thrill watching the glowing cars zoom around the track. Now, if you aren't outside there's nothing to see anywhere. It's not like the Imagineers didn't know what the view from the track was going to be. Couldn't they have planned the new attractions a little more People Mover friendly?

I miss the old audio. Well, part of the redesign, is for example, Lilo. Nothing to see if you are on the ride If they ever take out the PeopleMover, Monsters Inc. might be the only thing that makes me come over to Tomorrowland, and thats just a maybe.

I also miss 20k Under the Sea. It was hot and steamy, the subs leaked, it was very slow loading, but I though it was the coolest thing on my first visits to MK in the 70's.
