AAA Member Parking

I've heard from several people that there is a free parking lot for those that have a AAA membership. Is that true or is it only for those that book a AAA vacation package?

From what I understand, if you buy tickets thru triple A, then parking at Disneyland is free. But don't quote me.

I thought you had to purchase a disney vacation package through AAA to get the parking, but last year we purchased just park tickets for WDW and we were given the parking pass. Now I can get disney park tickets a little cheaper than AAA prices, BUT, the parking pass is great, not solely for the free parking, but the LOCATION of the free parking. Now mind you I'm talking about WDW, but it's also an advantage for DL I assume.
