    Default Pools at POR

We are staying at POFQ and I understand we can use the pools at POR. Are there any pools at POR that are quieter than others? Which one is closer to POFQ?

Yes! One of the perks of the Port Orleans resort is that you can use all of the pools on both sides.

POR has a main pool, which is themed like a "swimmin' hole", with a pretty good slide (DD loves the slide). It it right behind the main building and can get fairly busy.

There are also a number of smaller "quiet" pools, which are just plain pools (no slides, hot tubs, etc). They are fine, and usually aren't too busy, but aren't nearly as interesting as the main pools.

You can take the bus or boat from POFQ to POR, or it is a short walk (especially short if you're in building 6 or 7 at POFQ) to the main pool or the quiet pool in the mansion section (which is close to POFQ).

We LOVE the quiet pools in the Alligator Bayou section of POR. Theyre so quiet. They're shaped like free-form little ponds, and there are alway plenty of lounge chairs to relax in if the kids want to stay in longer than we do. There's rarely more than one or two other families there, and often we're the only ones.
