Tours for Animal Kingdom Lodgers

Has anyone stayed in the Animal Kingdom Lodge and ponied up the extra bucks for the special tours of the Animal Kingdom offered to folks staying in the Lodge? We looked into it, and ultimately decided it was much too expensive. I just wondered if anyone had the experience and would be willing to share.

she loved it, and said she would do it again anytime.

Again, I have not personally experienced the tours offered but know of several people who have and they could not say enough good things about them. To them it was well worth the money.

A couple of years ago we stayed club level at AKL and did the Sunrise Safari...Loved it! The young lady that did our tour was so very nice and informative. The breakfast afterward was wonderful and she sat and spoke with us for awhile afterwards..we would do this again.
