    REMY Info:

    1) Inside Les Chefs de France.
    2) Monday-thru-Saturday at 12:30, 1:40, 2:50 & 5:20pm
    3) Visiting
. . . he comes out right on schedule
. . . the cart makes one trip around the eatery
. . . you must wait until he comes to your table *
. . . you cannot get up and go over to him, handlers make sure of this
. . . if you miss him, he does not make a second trip
. . . you must wait for the next scheduled time
. . . if your ADR is close to a scheduled time, be early
. . . you might be in line waiting for a table when he appears
. . . if so, you wait for the next scheduled trip

    * If people gathered around the cart, it would clog the aisles. Also,
guests might be pressing their shorts and clothes against other guest's
tabletop and food (eewe, yuck, gross). Also, he is a temperamental little
critter, and occasionally does not appear at all, and with NO PRIOR NOTICE,
so use caution when promising him to little ones to avoid disappointment

We made an early dinner reservation as well and we were not expecting to see Remy so we were quite surprised when he was being wheeled about! I would guess that most of the dinner hour(s) do not include Remy so they just make that blanket statement.

    1) 5:20 is the last tour of REMY.
    2) At 5:20, chances are you will not be seated yet.
    3) If not, you CANNOT walk over to Remy.
    4) You have to wait until he gets to the table.
    5) If you miss him, you are out of luck.
    6) Even if you were standing in line waiting for a table at the time.
    7) So, ressies after 5:00 usually say not characters.

This could be because Disney never promises certain characters (eg. Character meals say "Mickey and friends" instead of listing specific ones) and since Remy is the only one that comes out here, they don't want to promise it then have patrons angry if he fails to appear one night.

It could also be to ensure people don't think it's the typical M+G character meal where you get hugs, autographs, etc, since Remy is a different type of character than people expect at a "character meal".
