Default Crowds are big now! Spring Break is definitely here.

The slow season is, sadly, gone at Disneyland.

I was there this morning right at opening and crowds were huge! My son and I spend the morning doing Fantasyland rides. We had to wait almost 20 min for Mr. Toad's and close to 40 for Gadget's Go Coaster! Yikes!

    Anyone coming soon, be prepared.

On the upside, the weather has been great lately! Sunny and low 70's makes for great park touring.

When I was there on Monday it was quite crowded. When even the lines for Snow White's Scary Adventures and Pinocchio in Fantasyland are long, you know it is a busy day. However, it was not to the point that they were requiring Passholders to use hand stamps.

Although I didn't stay long enough to confirm it I heard two cast members discussing the fact that the hours at each park had been extended an hour that particular day.

There was a loudspeaker announcement today around 11am that the park would be remaining open until midnight.

In addition, we actually arrived at 8:45. The monorail was not yet operating, and there was HUGE line, so we walked to the front entrance. When we got there, there was no line to get in and it was obvious that the park was open and operational WELL before 9am. Rides were going full on and already had lines by 8:55!

Spring Break will span 7 full weeks this year due
to the shifting of schedules around many states
    and respective school systems.

Then a whole two weeks after that the Summer
    Season begins!
Tonight, the part of Al will be played by a tall, dark and sinister ugly man.

We did DCA on Friday, 4/1 and it was VERY good. If at all possible, plan to go when the California resident passes are blocked. Two of the three were blocked on Friday.
Also, use fastpass. We arrived just before 10 and picked up a Soarin FP. Then we did TOT rope drop and picked up a TOT FP immediately after riding. We strolled to California Screamin, rode and then picked up a CS FP.
We were able to walk on to the "biggies" with virtually no wait, at all.
It was a great day! Best of luck to all that are headed to the parks. Gather your fastpasses as quickly as possible in the morning.

Great advice! Also helps if you're park hopping and can grab some FP at DL before heading over to DCA!

Glad you had a great time!
