I look at it this way - they're cheap souvenirs.

Actually, they're very expensive in many ways! Think about the money you'd have to pay for exterminators to try to get rid of them! As I understand it, a bed bug can live for up to a year without a meal so can be hiding in a crack in your house for that amount of time! Think about all the clothing and other items you'll need to launder and the amount of time you'll spend doing this - nope, nothing cheap about bringing this sort of critter home with you.

After reading this thread and searching a few websites I noticed most of the resorts mentioned are value or moderate. Do the Deluxe resorts do a special treatment to the rooms they have? Is there anything that is done extra or different to the resorts that cost an arm and a leg rather then just an arm and a bite?

Sorry, but the deluxe resorts are not any more or any less immune to bedbugs than the values or mods...in fact one of the first threads on this particular subject matter on this website was entitled, "Bedbugs at the Poly."
