My daughter has a meet in MA that weekend, so its a no go for me. We did get to the Times Square Disney store last weekend though, and had a great time. It is very small compared to the original NYC Dis store. We were done in about 15 mins tops! Have a great time!

Not funny. Actually, very funny and very true. The scary part is that my job at my current paper requires me to do quite a bit of math. Thank goodness for Excel.

Good news, folks. I just called the Heartland Brewery catering line, and they are setting us up with a reservation at the Times Square location at 1 p.m. I told them 25 people, but we may be even more! That's why it's crucial we get a headcount soon.

It's the Disney Store right in Times Square. I came up with 218 w 42nd. It's NOT the one on fifth ave, as that one closed a while ago.

Are you sure, Kathy? I'm pretty sure it's a few blocks uptown. According to Disneystore.com, the Times Square location is at 1540 Broadway, between 45th and 46th streets. I've never been to the new store, but I walk by it often because my office is nearby. I'm pretty sure it's not on 42nd. Maybe I'm missing something?

I can't believe we're less than a week away! Looks like we have a wonderful crowd coming!

Total: I count 34. Unreal. My reservation at Heartland was for 25. I guess I better call back and increase that number.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, Heartland cannot make us a regular reservation for a group this large. Twenty-five was pushing it. Close to 35 is impossible. That means we will have a limited menu (plus a kids menu, I believe). It also means that it will cost adults about $26 each. Not thrilled about the arrangement, but I understand that we are putting a strain on the restaurant. Thirty-five is a lot of people, and it may even grow from here in the coming days.

I will post the menu when it is sent to me. Other suggestions are, of course, encouraged.

The woman at Heartland sent me another menu for only $20 per adult. It has fewer options, but it's about $7 cheaper. Would you like me to post the more expensive option as well?

I think this address is for the New Amsterdam Theater, where Mary Poppins plays.

I read online that the new Disney Store is in the old Virgin store, and it's very close to the giant Toys R Us.

I cannot believe 42 people are planning to go! I hope y'all have fun! Will there be pictures?
