We were just there. Had a great room in Martinique building 25. It was a short walk to the OPR and the main pool. The bus stop was also a short walk and easy to get to.

    Default Jut over the Bridge

We liked either Aruba or Jamaica.. They are just a short walk over the bridge to main area .

Another vote for Martinique building 25. Building 26 is even better.
    Ideal location.

Martinique 25 and 26 are both "preferred location" buildings. That means that if you merely request it, you are requesting a free upgrade to a room that costs more per night than a standard room. Preferred location is a separate room category, a separate booking category. Roughly $25-$30 more per night than a standard room.

There are 33 guest buildings at CBR. Six of those 33 are preferred location. These are Martinique 24-25-26 and Trinidad North 31-32-33.

Preferred location means the buildings closest to Old Port Royale, the complex that has the main pool, restaurant and food court, shops, arcade, etc.

If you don't want to pay extra above the cost of a standard room, the 3 NON-preferred location buildings closest to OPR are Martinique 22, Aruba 51 and Jamaica 45.

Now, you notice I included one building in Jamaica and one in Aruba. Please don't assume from this that every building in those villages is similarly close to OPR. They are NOT. In fact, Jamaica 41 is the farthest "standard" guest building from OPR, and Aruba 56 is a close second.

All villages have their own bus stop and their own quiet pool, so there's no such thing as a room that's too far from either of those.

    Default Martinique blding 22

About closest non preferred to OPR AND you are close to main path and the beach area (Big one) AND you are about equi-distant from Martinique and Barbados pool and laundry so can try one or the other.
