    Default Disney Gift card

A friend told me about getting Disney Gift cards via fundraisers. I saw one at church today. I have not done this before so I have questions.
You are all part of a great resource in spirit and data.
    1. Do they expire like visa rewards cards?
    2. Can I use it to pay off KKTW at front desk each day?
    3. The fundraiser gets 2%. That did not seem like much. Is that the usual?
    Thank you

We use these at our Church. I haven't bought any yet, so I can't answer your first two questions, but to answer the third, the 2% is one of the lowest that is offered. The highest would be 20% from local businesses and restaurants, while the lowest are from the larger corporations, like Toys-R-Us (1.5%), Walmart (2%), Walgreens (2%), and Best Buy (3%). I'd estimate that the average would be around 7%, so Disney is below the average, but hey, 2% is better than nothing. If you are spending the money anyway, it's good to know there is some kickback going to your favorite organization.
Believe in the future, the world is getting better, there is still plenty of opportunity.

I have purchased these in past years.
    no, they do not expire.
yes you can use them to pay off room charges at the front desk.

I like being able to buy one or two when I have some spare cash, and then I tuck them away until our trip. Then, it's nice to be able to pay for tips and drinks without putting it on the credit card. Our usual routine is to charge everything to the room (we've done DDP so "everything" includes tips and drinks) and then pay it off every few days.

I have done this to help my son with tuition to a private school. It worked out very well. No expiration and yes we went down every other day to pay our bill off. I too bought a couple here and there when I had extra money. Good luck and have a great trip.
