Nostalgia

Our family of 7 drove down from CT in 1973 in our Buick wagon. I slept in the back as Stevie Wonder’s “You are the Sunshine of my Life” seemed to play every 4th song. I awoke to see my first palm tree. Later at a pit stop we felt the warm FL air in mid winter—so foreign. We kids fought and our parents bickered, and the trip was wonderful. But seeing that castle for the first time, at night… now that was magical. Thx, Mom and Dad, and Walt.

You know, I grew up 45 min from WDW, and felt that way every time we went. It was always magical to me. By the time we got on the monorail or the ferry over, I was already bursting with excitement.
