Did anyone get a calendar this year?

My BIL, who works at WDW in merchandise said that they took all the 2011calendars to the landfill recently, and I won't be able to find one this year. They did this in respect to the CM who lost his life on the monorail this year. Apparently one of the months had a pic of the purple monorail, so all calendars got scrapped. While I understand the respect issue, I'm so bummed I won't have my calendar next year..

I just bought a calendar in October. I looked quick and the blue monorail is in one picture but not purple.
I'm not sure what to say..I bought one, and they had a ton of them for sale back in October.
Maybe someone who has been more recent will come along, but the monorail in mine is blue not purple.

I purchased mine about 2 weeks ago from WDW and the monorail is blue in it.

I got mine online a couple weeks ago as well - the monorail (with Spaceship Earth behind it) is the picture for the month of May, and it's definitely blue.

Maybe they scrapped the calendars with the purple monorail and changed the new prints to blue.

That's what I'm wondering now, perhaps they just changed the color. I'm going to ask him again tonight when I talk to him. Gosh, he should know, he's been in charge of some of the resorts merchandise for years now. Perhaps I misunderstood him?

Mine is blue as well. I order mine online every year, and it took a really long time (3 months) for me to get it. I guess they had to reprint them.

I ordered mine through ebay and when I first looked through it thought it odd that the purple monorail was featured in one of the pictures. It's hanging in my office so I will have to double check it tomorrow (Monday), but it sure looked purple to me.

OK, I've looked at my calendar again, and looked at pictures of the blue monorail and the one on my May calendar is definitely purple. How strange.....

A few of the ones with purple must have still gotten out before they could switch them all. If you've got a purple one, you should keep it! It's a collector now...
