Thanksgiving discounts

Unfortunately, I think I know the answer, but wanted to make sure.

We've always stayed at CBR (8 times) and always have gotten discounts (Oct, Jan, and one time at Thanksgiving)

We are reserved for CBR starting Wed Nov 24th and check out Saturday, Nov 27th. (we are camping at FW 3 previous days and may go offsite Friday to save some moolah)

Rate is max @190/nite. Can someone confirm that there are no general public discounts 24th - 27th? Appreciate it,

You are correct. Thanksgiving week is a "blackout" week for discounts.

I know, it *****. We are flying in on the 26th and had to do a room only reservation for that day, then a MYW package after that to get the free dining.

I don't mind paying the rack rate as much as I mind not getting the free dining on the arrival day as we usually carry forward those entitlements to allow us a signature dining experience and still having all the other days covered.

Oh well.
