    Default What's for dinner?

Mostly because I'm a nosy person, but because I'm just always interested! I'm asking this as I'm having my own dinner--I'm 22 and moved back home after college, so I'm still privy to my mother's meals. Since yesterday was a Sunday and she had the time and the energy, she cooked a roast in the oven for about four hours, made green-bean casserole AND HOMEMADE mashed potatoes, which are my favorite! Especially because I hate instant.

And because she made so much of it yesterday, we get to have leftovers today!

So, hence my question to the age-old question...

What are you having for dinner?

LOL! I don't blame you for this. My mother used to do the SAME thing on my Girl Scout meeting night--except I had choir an hour before the Girl Scout meeting and we had Taco Bell instead.

Also, everyone, these dinners sound AMAZING. Don't be surprised if I show up at your house, with a plate!

Tonight I made a sauteed shrimp with mushrooms and a light wine creme sauce with tarragon and garlic served over angle hair pasta. Fresh garlic bread for the side. And yes, it is an artery clogger and it is so good!
