Great Bars for hanging out?
Dear Disney Friends,
I will be meeting up with family and friends down in WDW this coming Spring around Easter. What are your favorite bars in WDW that may be overlooked or are favorites. We have been to Raglan Road many, many times...but it is a bit loud for chatting and catching up on old times. Let me know what nooks and crannies serve a decent drink...resorts...parks...wherever. Many thanks.

By far my favorite is Jelly Rolls at the Boardwalk Hotel
It is the best atmosphere....so much fun.
But not sure if you will be able to chat there....there is a good bar in the Yacht Club next to Yachtsman Steakhouse....The bartenders are great. There are tv's, and there are tables.....quiet enough yet fun to just hang out.

There's a similar thread running now, and my answers would be the same here as they were there:

I highly recommend The Wave bar at the Contemporary. Great atmosphere to grab drinks and catch up with friends.

Not sure where you are staying, but if it happens to be BLT the Top of the World lounge is just fabulous (but you have to be staying at the resort).
*a favorite previous bar that was just PERFECT for hanging out was the Adventurer's Club - unforunately..... it is gone. I'm still in mourning.

I really like Tambu Lounge at the Polynesian, Rose and Crown at Epcot and Tune-In Lounge at DHS.

I think this is the Crews Cup and the Bellvue Lounge at the BW are both nice quietish places to catch up with old friends. Have a great time!

Territory Lounge at Wilderness Lodge, Mizner's at the Grand Floridian, Victoria Falls at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Tambu Lounge at the Poly, and Outer Rim at the Contemporary all offer a place to relax and chat!

Thanks for starting this thread. I think we're going to have to check one of these places out on our trip. I wish the Adventurer's Club was still open; we never made it in there.

Tune In Lounge is great. Good place to take a break and have some cold drinks and apps (or even eat).
The bar at Blue Zoo Restaurant (at the Dolphin) is amazing!

It is fun to drink around the monorail...
We often have a drink at each monorail resort - each has its own charms. I just found out that DrinkAroundtheWorldShowcase (a sponsor of these discussion boards in the dining section...) also has passports for a Monorail drink-a-thon. They look pretty cute!
