*See Fireworks at Wilderness Lodge?

We will have my elderly MIL with us on our next trip, and she goes to bed early. Can we go out and watch the fireworks from the beach at Wilderness Lodge, after we put her to bed? Do the shuttle boats run DURING the fireworks? It seems like that would be a great place to view the fireworks...

You can't see very much from the beach at WL, but the boats are running. The first night of the "Summer Nightastic" we hopped on the boat to the Contemporary (not the boat to MK) 10 minutes before the fireworks, and the boat captain asked if we were in a hurry to get somewhere... he said we could watch the fireworks from Bay Lake if we wanted. He said it was the best view available and he was right!! He stopped the boat just a few hundred yards out from the Contemporary and we watched the whole show from there. It was amazing.

There are a few rooms at Wilderness Lodge that actually have a view of the fireworks from the room.

Those rooms would be on the upper floors on the Artist Point, boat dock side of the resort. That would be the north or northwest side I think
We have stayed in 1028 and 1026 twice. The fireworks could been seen thru the trees. I would think the 3 floor or higher would have a nice view. You would be able to see the Electric Water Pagent from the WL beach.

If you really must see them from WL, there is a view of them from the far end of the staff parking lot. They are too far away to really enjoy in my opinion. We took the boat to Mk one night just to see the fireworks and returned back to the resort.. A quick ferry ride.

We've watched the Electric Water parade from the beach at WL and could hear the fireworks from MK, but I don't think we could see any of them at all. We did however, once have a room view that looked toward MK, could see the castle through the trees and we could see the fireworks from the room. But as someone else said it wasn't an enjoyable view of the fireworks. You'd be better off taking a spin on one of the boats, either to MK or to the Contemp. and just get back on for the ride back to WL.

Gee - we were at WL last month and watched the fireworks twice from the beach. I thought it was a pretty decent view, considering the distance. You could see the display quite well, you just missed the context of the park framed inside the fireworks display.

We stayed on the 5th floor one time (room faced Magic Kingdom) and we were able to watch from our balcony nightly. Great view!

I was able to watch them from the dock at WL. While you can't see the fireworks that we lower in the air, there was still a decent view to see the rest. I had a courtyard view room, so I couldn't see them from my room, but my sister's family could see them from across the hall in their Wood's View room. We were all on the second floor.
