Hi all, I did exactly as you said and booked a room only ressie for the first night at POR for $134 then I linked the other ressie so maybe I will not even have to change rooms

Just wanted to mention to all those recommending Magical Journeys to help book ONE night. Unless you're a previous client, they will only consider helping you with a minimum of 3 night stays.

I had to institute some rules due to my agents time being abused by smaller bookings.

The agents work solely on commission and to spend many hours with a client for a $2.50 commission was not fair to them. I do not think anyone (including waitresses) should be expected to work for that type of money.

Correct. We would have done any and all work required to find the best rates for her specific circumstance.


(edited to add) Before we instituted the rule, we were inundated with one night bookings for rates and resorts people were unable to find for themselves. They had booked their other portion directly with Disney, and wanted us to do the hard stuff. Again, not fair to my agents.

I suppose your having to institute these rules came from potential clients abusing the valuable time of the agents. Being a business owner myself, that is something I don't do to other, but since some do, I understand your rules.
My experience probably wouldn't have been quite so negative if I hadn't gone all the way through your rather lengthy online questionnaire (not that it shouldn't be detailed) only to find the disclosures at the end of the questionnaire. In that case, it turned out to be my time that was wasted... something I don't like to do.
