I LOVE all this! It's like playing Mad Libs with fill-in-the-blanks for Fantasyland!

One day (noun) announced a new land in Disney World. It would be called (noun)land. Everyone was very (adjective) about it. New rides would include a rocky (noun), sparkly (nouns) and a very fast (noun). Ian's children were (adverb) (adjective), but Ian didn't know what to (verb).

Okay I'm just going to imagineer for a minute.
It's like a coaster but not...
    ... and it involves water.

What if, it was a mine cart on a track in a dark ride setting, that whipped around kind-of like Mr. Toad's did (like "Oh my gosh we're going to crash into that... nope, we turned at the last second!"). What if this cart went up and down over small ramps and hills to add some height and mild drops within the ride, but nothing high enough to be considered a coaster. (Think: the mild-but-wild drop in Pirates, only without water.)
And speaking of water, what if, at some point in the mine, the dwarfs dig deep enough to hit an underground spring of water and sprays are squirting out at you as you travel through?

That would cover the water thing, the 'sort-of coaster' thing, and the dark ride thing.

BOOM. I just invented the ride. Draw up the plans. We're done.

Rumors are rumors. I'll believe anything about the changes to the new area when Disney announces it

    New theme to Barnstormer???

THE GREAT GOOFINNI.. Or at least that is the current rumor... So, Dumbo isn't taking over the entire area... More like a circus area featuring Dumbo... Barnstormer keeps Goofy it appears....
Son of Jor-El.. Kneel before Zod...

TRICIA JONES: I heard that you were going to propose to Brandi Svenning at some theme park. When are men going to learn that women want ROMANCE, not Mr. Toad's Wild Ride...

BRODIE: Hey, now, be fair. EVERYONE wants Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

Fits just fine. Thankfully Dumbo is not taking up everything over there. Hope we can get "Character Corner" in the northern section. Would be a great addition!

Is that really appropriate for a family board.

Everyone be sure to watch the Disney blog at 12:45 pm EDT. They are making some "big" announcements live regarding the theme parks. Don't know if it'll be the revamped plans for Fantasyland, just the new theme (rumored to be "Where memories begin") or what. Should be interesting, and maybe we'll get some clarity on all of this discussion.

I'm glad they are keeping the Little Mermaid because that is Vivien's favorite. I would love to see the mine ride incorporate some water. Part dark ride, part flume- like would be very cool. I do hope they keep Fantasyland without height restrictions and more geared towards the younger kids.
