    Default Carnotaur vs. Yeti

    Which animatronic monster reigns supreme?

I haven't seen the Yeti yet, so I can't quite say.

    What's YOUR opinion?

    Cool

My vote goes to the Carnotaur. I have seen that creature scare the heck out of a lot of people! That being said when the Yeti was in 'A' mode, I found it to be pretty impressive too but it pales in comparison to the shock effect of the Carnotaur.

The times we've gone, the Yeti wasn't moving, just staying sationary. The Carnotaur is far more scary!

A carnotaur that moves beats a Yeti statue any day!

The T-Rex over at IoA blows them both away, unless the Yeti is in A Mode. I never found the Carnotaur to be all that impressive, and actually, I thought it wasn't a real dinosaur for a while.

The Yeti is an impressive sight, when he's working and you're not blinking.

I guess this wasn't a fair question with Yeti on the fritz...

Honestly, the carnatour isn't working right now, either, so, to me, neither one of them rules.

The yeti buildup is more than the yeti sighting, for me. So the carnotaur wins. That thing scares me every time. How is it not working, Chris? I was there last week and it seemed to be working to me, but maybe I fell for their Disney illusions.

It would be the Yeti, if he were working. In his current state, he barely qualifies as an AA

Sherri, one of the carno's is just a cardboard cutout now, not the big AA it used to be, though they use lighting to hide that. Supposedly they're just refurbing the "real" AA and it'll be back up sometime. Also, for a good long while the carno at the end no longer moved towards you. Don't know if they've fixed that since May or if they are just using the strobe effect to fool you.

For me the Carnotaur is definitely scarier....but when Alien Encounter was an attraction, it was by far the best!!!!

Even if the Yeti was in full on "A" mode, it has nothing on the carnotaur.

Carnotaur for me! I think it is actually scary, where the Yeti was just cool.

Wow! That Carnatour totally freaks me out! Even though you know it's coming, I think it's b/c it is sooooo loud and it chases after you. I love that ride, it's my fave at AK, it's fun-but I can see how it would be really scary for some.

I know the Carnataur is coming...I know exact spot he is coming and I know he isn't real...I know all of this and yet I still scream in fear each and every time.

A Moving attacking Dino beats Disco Yeti! But the Yeti in A Mode would win easily!

Carnotaur-very scary! It makes me scream every time! Love it!!
We got to see the Yeti actually working after EE first opened--a great effect; not as scary as the dinosaur though.
